What’s up, everyone? Today, I want to remind you how to raise capital in 3 simple steps!
Right now, there are many of you out there that are struggling to raise capital.
I am a capital raiser myself. I started Fund Launch to help people raise capital and start/scale their own investment funds.
There are 3 main areas that I look at when diagnosing the capital raising-related problem with my students.
#1 Get in the Room
Are you in the vicinity of high-net-worth individuals? Are you around potential investors?
This seems like an easy step, but it is often overlooked.
You will not find these people in your basement, so put yourself out there!
You can find them at professional sports games, business dinners, and other networking events like Cars & Coin!
Additionally, just keep on the lookout; you’ll find potential investors if your eyes are open!
#2 Convert
In my YouTube short, I said…
“Once you’re in the room, how good are you at networking and talking to them?”
Learning how to make meaningful relationships in a short amount of time – as short as a minute – can make a difference.
I’ve learned that asking for favors isn’t the best way to make friends.
Be genuine and offer legitimate help and they’ll soon return the favor!
#3 Close & Pitch
After putting yourself in a good situation with a potential investor, you need to execute!
Clean up your rough draft and confidently deliver your pitch that is tailored to them.
Treat them as if they’re the only person you will ever offer the deal to.
Conclusion
