First, let’s cover the basics…
A fund is a pool of money. Investors put money into that pool. Fund/money managers like you and I manage that pool.
This means we make investments, buy businesses, or whatever.
When those investments/businesses make money, we split the returns between the investors and fund managers.

The money in PE funds is used to buy businesses.
Instead of buying private companies like PE funds, hedge funds are used to buy public entities like stocks, bonds, or crypto.
It’s in the name. RE funds are used to buy apartment buildings, skyscrapers, and more!

You should still understand the world of funds. You will be better off.
For example, a PE fund could try to buy your business out, or your employer’s business. If you understand funds, you will know what is going on. You’ll be the guy they won’t fire when things go south.
After researching all the most successful funds, I found that most of them emerged when the market was unstable (like right now).
